Las Vegas, Nev., April 25, 2008 --U.S. medical professional liability insurers anticipate their primary rate levels to decrease in 2008, compared with 2007, while the average frequency and severity of claims sustained by their firms will remain about the same as last year, according to a survey of medical liability insurance executives conducted by reinsurance broker Collins at its seventh annual Medical Liability Insurance Networking Forum here.
