Robert J. (Bob) Kimmel, executive vice president, has several responsibilities. He is co-leader of Collins' Sales and Service operations, developing and implementing marketing strategies and tactics for the company.

He also leads the Collins Program Group, managing efforts of the company to work with the nation's leading managing general agents (MGAs) and carriers in developing and accessing program business opportunities.

He is also general manager of Collins' San Francisco office.



Professional Background

Mr. Kimmel began his career as a reinsurance intermediary with E.W. Blanch Company in 1991. He transferred to that company's San Francisco office in 1993 to work on the West Coast workers' compensation team.

He joined Collins in 1998, when he led the opening of the company's San Francisco office. He has specialized in property and casualty business, including earthquake coverage and program business, for the past ten years.

Mr. Kimmel holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from Arizona State University
